Connecting Global Travelers with Authentic Japan
I am a German national with Turkish roots who has lived in Japan for over 13 years, currently based in Kawaguchi. My journey in Japan began when I fell in love with the country while working at a ski resort in Niigata’s snowy mountains back in 2013, sparked by a childhood of 1990s anime and cup ramen.
Foodie Adventure Japan grew out of a specific challenge I saw firsthand: international travelers with dietary restrictions struggled to fully experience Japanese culinary culture. Having previously managed two guesthouses in Tokyo, I gained direct insight into what international visitors genuinely need when navigating food, stay, and transit options in Japan.
My work combines my passion for sustainable travel, food, cafés, and local exploration with a practical, problem-solving mindset. I am dedicated to inbound tourism PR (訪日インバウンド集客), helping regional destinations and local businesses showcase their unique cultural assets to an international audience.
